Start your day with a city tour of Geneva, with its beautiful lakeside parks, unique town hall and European seat of the UN. A late morning drive takes you past the Château de Chillon, Lausanne and Montreux, before travelling through the Valais, thevalley of the River Rhône with its orchards and vineyards. A cogwheel train will transport you from Täsch to the renowned car-free resort Zermatt, at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn. Dinner at your hotel is included.
A morning at leisure in Zermatt gives you plenty of time to relax, explore or venture up to Gornergrat for some of the most spectacular views of the Matterhorn you will ever see. After an early lunch, your comfortable coach will take you over the breathtaking Nufenen Pass to Lugano, in Italian speaking Ticino. Your evening is at leisure, discovering the garden city with its Mediterranean flair.
Upon leaving Lugano you cross the border into Italy, for a jaunt along the romantic shores of Lake Como before entering Switzerland at Castasegna. The stunning beauty of the landscapes seen from your seat becomes even more awe inspiring as you wind along the Maloja Pass, as the ice blue Lake Silvaplana guides you into the exclusive St. Moritz. Your late afternoon arrival gives you plenty of time to wander the town before dinner.
Your morning journey whisks you from St. Moritz to Davos, crossing the Flüela Pass, before continuing to the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein. In Vaduz, famous for its mighty castle overlooking the city, there is plenty of time for lunch and sightseeing. Continue in the afternoon to Zürich, via the picturesque Toggenburg region.
A day in Zürich begins with a city tour of the best sights of the city, with spectacular views of the Alps, before heading out to the town of roses, Rapperswil. The rose garden, deer park and castle all await you. The city tour ends with a relaxing lake cruise back to Zürich city centre.
An early morning start from Zürich takes you to the city of Lucerne for a visit to the Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge. After leisure time in Lucerne, a short journey takes you to Engelberg, where the innovative revolving gondolas take you up to the peak of Mount Titlis with its eternal snow. Crossing the Brünig Pass to the Bernese Oberland, the village of Brienz offers the opportunity to see traditional woodcarving before your final stop of the day, Interlaken.
A lakeside drive along beautiful Lake Thun transports you in no time at all to the capital city Bern, on the Aare river backed by the majestic Alps. Your city tour to the Old Town includes the Clock Tower and the 15th century Cathedral before a short journey to the famous village of Gruyères. After a visit to the cheese factory, the medieval setting of Gruyères is the backdrop as you wind down through the Vaud Riviera to the city of peace, Geneva.
