Itinerary Hiking Aletsch Glacier Panorama Trail
Air or rail travel to Zurich with meet & greet by a representative and taken to Regensdorf-Zürich.
Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the start of the Aletsch Glacier Panorama Trail. Start from Naters, on the banks of the river Rhone, ascending gently up to Blatten then on to the lovely car free resort of Belalp. Overnight in Belalp.
Leaving Belalp in the morning, you hike to the hanging bridge over the glacier itself. The suspension bridge, over the Massa Gorge, is a thrilling experience – not for the faint-hearted! Continue onwards through the lovely Aletsch Forest to Bettmeralp. Overnight in Bettmeralp.
Departing Bettmeralp, stop first at Bettmerhorn for unparalleled views over the Aletsch Glacier, before continuing to Fiescheralp, a truly authentic setting with tranquil countryside and quiet village setting. Overnight in Fiesch.
Transfer to Zürich. Depart Zürich.
