The Golden Pass Line runs along six lakes and links timeless tradition in German-speaking Central Switzerland with French-style flair on Lake Geneva – All in one day.
The Golden Pass train travels from Zweisimmen to Montreux or vice versa. Choose to journey on Golden Pass Panoramic (with panoramic carriages) or Golden Pass Classic (a replica of the elegant Belle Epoque trains). For a VIP experience sit at the front of the train underneath the driver and enjoy exceptional views (supplement – Panoramic train only).
The train passes by rolling countryside and meadows dotted with traditional chalets. Passengers’ first glimpse of Lake Geneva comes as the train winds its way through vineyards to Montreux.
