Overview

Graubünden is renowned equally for its luxurious, elegant resorts as for its wild, dramatic nature and fresh Alpine air. The highest holiday region in the Alps, Graubünden is home to Heidi, the ibex and the source of the Rhine.

The capital Chur with its medieval town centre is the starting point to the famous Bernina Express scenic rail route. Davos, Europe’s highest town, and neighbouring Klosters offer a great combination of urban and Alpine activities, whilst St. Moritz is known for glamorous events in magnificent surroundings. Pontresina, Poschiavo, Silvaplana, Sils-Maria are smaller resorts in the Engadine valley dotted along lakes and surrounded by rugged mountain scenery.
